I'm about to jump in with both feet. If you don't hear from me in 48 hours, you'll know I have problems.  toothgrin.gif

I just installed it. So far, so good. The restart takes a little time so don't panic. Have a martini or three while waiting. Am I brave or foolish?

Thanks for that info, I hadn't noticed. I did, however, notice that very long restart that you mentioned. I brewed a cup of decaf coffee and sat here and read. laugh.gif

The only oddity I've noticed is that my Amazon Music downloader launched and wanted to re-download ALL of my music. I had to force quit the application to stop it. wacko.gif  Still, I shouldn't be surprised as the Amazon apps have never played nice with my iMac (they often install the updated app on my desktop and then I wind up with two copies and it's all kinds of problems fixing it all).

I read about this in iOS, and I actually went and updated my very old iPad just to be safe. I never go on the net with it, I only use it to play music for my morning alarm clock, but better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the info, Jon.

Speaking of privacy and security, read How Spy Tech Firms Let Governments See Everything on a Smartphone. IMHO, Apple was right in refusing to allow a back door to foil encryption.
