Piggy-backing on George's request: I'd like recommendations on blu-ray players to use with an iMac.

As to the DVD reader/burner, I have an Apple USB one that matches the material of my 27" iMac and sits very quitely on the 'foot' of my machine. Have had no problems reading from, or burning to it.
YMMV...

Kimmer, this is a good starting point:
http://www.macworld.com/article/2084815/tu...ray-player.html
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....amp;PageSize=36
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OD39P6A/
gets very good reviews...
Not sure where the MacWorld writer got the idea that blu-ray players were $50 or less, though! I couldn't find any.

I found this article, and while it's a few years old, there are some good suggestions.

What is a "DVD". I also have no idea what "ca" stands for. Our local paper is the "Commercial Appeal" and they are forever using "CA" in a headline. Somehow, I don't think that's what the title is referring to.
I
do
know what a "Blu-ray" is, the Corvette factory is only a few hundred miles north of here. I think I'd rather have a
red
one, however...
