A Very Happy New Year...
« on: January 01, 2017, 04:59:35 AM »
Wishing you all you wish yourselves, especially good health. New Year's Day here is dull and damp, though fairly mild with a max temp of 43F (6C).

However, it will drop to freezing overnight. Oh joy  cheer.gif (/sarcasm)

Dull, damp, foggy, 48°F (8.9°C)... wait! Am I in England?! Rub eyes, look at new calendar... not much help! Picture for January is of Windsor Castle... Check the morning newspaper... can't, we were missed by the delivery guy! Oh well, England is one of my favorite places! Not sure I'll accept the freezing temps, however. Oh, just checked my weather page.

A very Happy and Prosperous New Year to all of you.

The weather here in NorEast Ohio is SUNNY for a change. Winds low with copious quantities of sunshine and blue skies!

Temp around 29º F.

Gorgeous.

Gotta love it.

May your days throughout 2017 be filled with joy and happiness.

It's looking to be a lovely start to 2017 here. Temp is 43F, with slight drizzles, and so I'll be able to go down my hill and get to church this morning. Having lunch with friends afterwards, and then home to watch football and take down all the decorations. By tonight we are to be around the freezing mark and might have a dusting of snow—that would be fun.  snowglobe.gif snowglobe.gif

Like Jack, I hope everyone finds 2017 is filled with joy and happiness.

Happy New Year everyone! It's a glorious sunny day here on the north shore of Lake Ontario - a bit breezy with winds out of the west at 22 kph, temps just above freezing. In the sheltered bit on our deck it almost seems warm enough for a bit of sunbathing. Almost. biggrin.gif

The annual Clarington Polar Bear Swim is supposed to start at 2 pm at the park next door, though I don't see any signs of people quite yet. I almost thought that since much of the park is closed for construction that they'd cancelled it, but no - the website says it's on, so we await the nutcases. biggrin.gif (no way I'm going in!!)
