Some are forecasting an announcement on Oct 30 at an Apple event in New York. My "new" one (late 2014) is still one the 1yr warranty (plus AppleCare), so I won't be buying one.
However, if I can talk my wife out of her MBP, I might get her one and VESA mount a monitor. She has several fused upper vertebra and the laptop is easy to use since the 'monitor' is so low on her desk. But she doesn't really need for the portability anymore.
