It's great software - I've been using it for almost a year in the beta version (for which we got a nice 40% discount on the first official release).
I've been trying to replace all of my Adobe software as I object to the subscription-don't-pay-can't-use-it model and this is the only one that comes close to InDesign. I used it to do some test newsletters when I redesigned our Historical Society newsletter and the last issue, which I did just a month or so ago, was the first official one done in Affinity Publisher. I've bought it for my own Macs and we've bought the PC version for the historical society computers as well.
The user forums are extremely active and very helpful, btw.
