Safari 13.0.2 Update available
« on: October 21, 2019, 09:13:16 PM »
I only found this when I clicked the "More info..." link under the very small text "Another update is available." in Software Update. I guess Apple is trying to keep that window as small as possible? "Don't Waste Electrons!" That must also be the trend to 6pt text? :wallbash: Not sure why else they would not make the updates more readily visible. :dntknw:  Of course, it may just be a conspiracy against older folk...

I saw that too. I don't know what "improvements" were made, but I did find that in the Discover Card site and in the Key Bank site (where I have accounts), I could not redeem my cashback bonuses for my credit cards. Both sites have been updated recently by the respective businesses, so I don't know if Safari is to blame or if Discover and Key techs didn't do their homework. I was able to redeem those bonuses in Firefox.

I will be contacting Discover and Key tech support for comment.

I'll be happy to help. Just send me your Discover Card credentials and I'll test them with the old and updated Safari! Don't forget that phone contact info, also! Why not give me the 800 number on the back of the card too. :Devilish:

I just phoned Key Bank and Discover. Key Bank is aware of the issue with Safari (they have been having problems with Safari for awhile, apparently) and they are working on it. They can't give me a timetable, however.

I don't know if Discover has been aware of this problem, but the tech thanked me for reporting it.
