From another forum: If you use the Chrome web browser, engadget is warning that a security flaw in Chrome is being "actively exploited" and that if auto update is not on, you should update now.

Another "Warning to Chrome users".

Try to remember that Chrome is controlled/owned/operated/used by/belongs to Google; the name of the app is "Google Chrome".

Google Chrome is ditching third-party cookies for good.

Getting rid of cookies sounds great! As usual, the devil is in the details. Google is simply moving the control of "cookies" to themselves. That's right, they are building a huge, Google-controlled AI system to determine who gets to use even more of the data they collect.

This is just part of their "Privacy Sandbox". Hey! We're all interested in 'privacy' and most people think of 'sandbox', in computer terms, as a way to protect things. Great PR, 'ay? "Just trust us."
