Strange text box
« on: January 20, 2022, 10:07:55 AM »
A short time ago I begin seeing an enlarged text box wherever the cursor happens to be hovering. Picture attached.
I have no idea how it began or where to disable it. Any suggestions?
Todd

A quick search solved the problem. No idea how it began.
I found this answer:

Could this be the Zoom accessibility feature?

It can be toggled with Alt-Command-8.

Also see System Preferences => Accessibility => Zoom for more details and options.

It's always interesting to peruse the Accessibility options every time you update the OS. While I may not need all the functions, some are useful for all of us. For example:
  • Increased display contrast
  • Shake mouse to locate
  • Cursor size
  • Color Intensity
And those are just in the Display section!

Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
