Are you saying that you typed something like "mission control" (with or without the quotation marks) in your favorite search engine and you did
NOT get a single "hit"?!

I have 9 hits, on my first page of results (without even using "mac"). That's using Search in the
DuckDuckGo browser, which does not have the most highly developed search engine around.
I suggest using any result that points to "Apple Support" since those pages usually have an OS picker allowing you to select your OS. The page I found that discusses Mission Control shows that feature has been around at least since
High Sierra!

Just my opinion but I've found that the more items you include in a search, the fewer results you usually get.

Of course, if you think you already know an important key word, include that by all means.

As I said before, it appears that it must be turned on, however the OS does it. So, to avoid it being a nuisance, don't turn it on.
