Good job so far, jb, you've done a lot in a short period of time.

One little observation...how much in love are you with that turquoise blue background?

Speaking only for moi, I find it rather distracting from the information and images you have displayed.

Forgive me for being so presumptuous but I took the liberty of making pages with a black background and a white one just so you could see the difference.. I'm partial to the black actually but I think a more neutral color would show off the images to their best effect. Feel free to tell me to mind my own business...

black background

white background.

BTW I like the music. I normally can't stand it on websites but your choice is very delicate and easy to take.

Krissel.

Please oh please, feel very free to mind 'my own' business. It's from people like your encouraging self that others do better. As to that 'aqua' color it just sprung up to mind at the time to show up the other tables. May be someone amongst our group with psychiatric experience could decipher a particular meaning as far as my personality is concerned.  I am more into the mechanics of HTML right now, as you can see by the multicolored borders. One day, I hope, I will be able to reach 10% of your artistic talent. Anyway for now, as to the background, I thought I would meet you somewhere in the middle of your thoughts. See here.

Much better. Now the background doesn't get my eye first.

Am I to understand that 'spiders' only look at the HTML coding source?

You got it! What seems amazing to me is that they haven't been programed to "see" the ASCII coding! At least no one has been able to find evidence that they can, yet.

BTW, sorry for the delay in 'answering', been away from the 'puter for a week. Went to Florida with 2 other couples for some vacationing. Amazingly one of the ladies spent time everyday in one kind of mall or another! That's just the oposite of vacationing, in my book! doh.gif  Oh well...
