iChat AV crashes when setting up video conference

Everytime when setting up a Video or Audio chat with iChat AV it crahes on my side and on the other side (the person I am trying to chat with) it says that I did not respond.

Any idea's whta this could be?

Wait for Panther - don't waste your time trying to adjust it

Especially if you have a router

No need to wait for Panther. IChatAV works fine, even behind a Router.
Trash the iChat preferences;

com.apple.iChat.AIM.plist
com.apple.iChat.plist
com.apple.iChat.SubNet.plist
com.apple.iChatAgent.plist

Then trash iChat and download a new copy and install. If you're behind a router, you have to open ports.
