Transferring multiple pictures into powerpoint
« on: September 21, 2003, 12:18:12 AM »
I have a g4 laptop using system 10.2.6 and powerpoint X.  I have slides(jpeg format) that I want to transfer unchanged into  powerpoint as individual slides.  I seem to be able to transfer them only one at a time via inserting pictures.Any suggestions how I can transfer 10 or so at a time into 10 slides at one time for a presentation?  Thank you.  ilw-00

Hmm...there's a free add-on for the Windoze version of PP: http://animalscience.ucdavis.edu/Intranet/.../PhotoAlbum.htm has info and the link to the M$ website, but it would seem that if you're a Mac user, you need to purchase shareware, and it doesn't seem to promise anything more than a one-at-a-time approach either (but does the resizing etc. required):

$9.95 for students, $25.95 for the rest of the world. A tad pricey methinks, unless this is something done a LOT.

Couldn't find anything else, unfortunately.

Well you CAN drag and drop from iPhoto.

It seems to only allow one at a time but it's really really fast (on a duel 1.25).

You can drag & drop from your desktop too. Something I only learned by accident. Much faster than insert... place picture... from file... (you know the drill).
