Are there any pop-up stoppers for IE and OS 9.1 . I know Netscape 7 has a built in pop up stopper, but I like to use IE 5.1.7 most of the time.

These shareware programs are supposed to do what you ask, but how well they do it, I dunno.

Perhaps if you try them, you can post back your findings???

try Mozilla or Safari browsers...
I use the two of them and don't get any pop-ups at all...
Every time i use IE or Netscape, they seem to do to pop, snap until you the user crackle up...

You might want to check out
Hostal
. It will continue to work for you when you move to X. It simply modifies/edits/creates a new host file listing blocked addresses. That will still require you to 'see' a popup and then get the address for it. Just downloaded a new version (1.3.1) that may be more automatic.
