Well heck... now the Flash Player is broken in Safari. I just went to Macromedia and got the player, but it still doesn't work. upset.gif

I deleted everything having to do with Flash and then re-installed the player and plugin. After being taken to the Macormedia site, I followed one of the links they provide to check the plugin and it worked.

I came back here to try Gary's link... it doesn't work. I can't access the flash game I posted awhile back either. Go Here to Check Link.

Bruce, there's something funny about that link - I had to dig it out of the source code in order to paste it into my browser address line and get it to work (startled me too eek2.gif !)

At first I thought my Flash was broken in Safari too - but then decided to check out some other Flash sites - no problems there.

See if this link works any better:

http://fun.tmc.dyn.ee/SajjadAli.swf

edit: nope - still get blank page. I dunno...copying and pasting works, but not a straight link.

Paddy,

Nope... that link and the one I posted above just will not work. All I get is a blank page with Go To This Address in the address line.

The Flash plugin works as it should with Mozilla and Internet Explorer. It used to work with Safari 1.0.

Bruce - try this one:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/hi/midd...tml/default.stm

It's a BBC site that has a Flash map (I did a Google search on "good Flash sites"...wink.gif )

It seems to work fine.

Did ya try another browser to make sure it is a Safari issue Bruce F?
<< if ya said you did up there somewhere >> whoops <gr>

Wonder if one can drop back down to Safari version 1.0. in Panther.?.
