Safari Browser and the TS board
« on: March 01, 2003, 10:46:00 PM »
I have noticed that Safari has trouble showing all the animated gifs. When I came to visit just now, only one of three flaming folders was working. The other two don't move.

As I type this message, most of the Graemlins work, but two of them are not.

Curious...

Under safari it is common on any board that multiple animated icons or graemlins will only animate one. Invariably the last one of a string.

Oh well, I'm sure it will be fixed in some future update.

In case anyone is interested, Safari will have tabbed browsing soon. Well, it's here now in a pre-release version, if you look for it.

My problem on Safari is that it doesn't remember TS cookies for some reason
I tried signing in again at TS, even checked the "cookies" check at the profile on TS... nothing

I'm not sure if this has a bearing,  Bruce, but the latest version of Safari Enhancer (March 1), has an option to de-activate the cache.
Doing that, I've seen some improvements.
I know there are a lot of free Safari offers out there now, but this is a singularly good one.

Marcel, maybe corrupted preferences? Can't think why it doesn't stick otherwise.

(How d'you find switching time zones?)

taliesin, I use Safari Enhancer only to make the minimum size font larger than the default.

I tried the Cache De-activater, but I noticed some strange behaviour on some web sites. Graphic elements on the effected pages would not load all the time. After enabling the Cache, the same pages loaded normally.
