I like to watch the video clips on MSN.com, however when I try to watch them now all I get is audio, no picture. It was working fine I have no idea what happened. Media player works on yahoo.

Anyone have any ideas what went wrong. I reinstalled Media Player but that did'nt help.

What your system or browser is missing is a plugin for WMP to work correctly. I have the same problem on OS X and Safari. Up to now, I have not found such a thing.

If MSN would allow you to download the file, even if it's stream file, you'd be able to view it. Some sites I have been to have such links and it's not a problem.

Bruce: Thanks for the info, but I have the media player plugins. Also everything was working fine up to about two days ago.

Update on my problem: The problem is with MSNBC media player, which I believe is part of Windows media player. If I downgrade the speed setting to 56K the player works, but the quality sucks.
