UMax 1200 Scanner

I rarely scan - but now I need a scanner.
I have this scanner with Vista Scan 3.1 and Presto Page Manager - I recently bought Omnipage Pro X.
I'm running Jaguar - some advice please - do I throw the scanner and just buy another one - which one?

Or what do I need to get this to work on Jaguar?
