Quicktime Update Question
« on: December 23, 2003, 06:15:23 PM »
I guess I haven't used the iBook in a couple weeks and when I got on tonight I had several updates....but the Quicktime update is giving me fits. It is calling for a registration number, and then says if you don't have it leave it blank....well it is not accepting blank. I really don't think I ever registered with Quicktime, each time it would pop up I would bypass that step.....How/where will I find a number to register? Any clues will be greatly appreciated. It is possible I don't really need the update anyway. I don't believe I've used Quicktime that much....thanks, trish

You only get a number if you paid for the Pro version. Otherwise, you shouldn't have a number.

Tish:  I leave everything blank and click Continue.  It goes along its merry way then.

Don't fill in anything.
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.
