Websites look like gibberish!

I think I am having a problem with my Times font.  Some websites look all gibberishy, although can still barely be read.  Letters are backwards, upside down and there are some random characters thrown in here and there.

How do I go about figuring out if there is a font problem and how should I fix it?

I am using Panther, 10.3.2

Could you possibly have selected a different character set in your browser preferences or in the drop down View? Sounds almost like you are looking at Russian or similar.

Try making other fonts your browser defaults and then set your browser to force use of your settings and see if those sites show up OK. That would at least narrow the possibilities.
