Scanner Tip Source
« on: March 08, 2003, 05:14:00 PM »
On an earlier post last week ('Free Agfa Scanners'), I mentioned that I acquired a Mircrotek E3 Plus Scanner for $20 on ebay.   I have it up-and-running and it's working great.

I came across a great source for solving all types of scanning questions: <  http://www.scantips.com/  > If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see all kinds of links directed towards specific scanning problems and the site answers a lot of initial questions I had upon arrival of my E3.

I have had that site bookmarked for several years.  It has been a great resource.  I first found out about that site from somebody back at No Wonder, when I was still using a performa 637CD (68LC040 with 32MB ram and a 350 MB hard drive).  I had a Umax Astra 610p SCSSI scanner attached to that machine, and Scantips taught me a lot.
