OT - a lighter take on the news

Weird and wonderful tales from the BBC's ten things you didn't know this time last week (it's last weekend's but it's still entertaining). Americans may enjoy No 7 while John Lennon would have turned No 9 into a song (No 9... John Lennon... get a feeling of deja vu about that).. oh, and most computer owners will at least feel some sympathy for No 10.
How about a link to your favourite off-the-wall story of the week?

Did you know President Bush now has 4 confirmed European countries in our alliance?! There is Spain, of course, but we can also count on England, Great Briton, and the United Kingdom!    

(heard it Wednesday on All Things Considered, should be in the archives by now!)
