Since I'm now moving more and more over to Jag from OS 8/9.
One of my gripes is in 8 or 9 I could upload an image to a server and either retrieve the url for that image from the server or download the image from the server for back up and it would have the url for the image along with it.

I've found that with X+ that the download procedure doesn't come with the url.
So I just copy the url while in the server to the downloaded image in the comments part of the get info.
OK! I can live with that. A bit slower or time consuming yet it is there easily to grab.

For weeks now I've been copying images over to Jag and copy/pasting the urls to each image.
Lots of work and time doing this.

----
Just lastnight I discovered that none of the images in any of the appointed folders have the urls anymore! Zilch ... nada ... zip ... poof ... gone ... went bye-bye ... took a powder ... vanished.?.
----

My thinking is something is giving Jag a window washing some how or another?
Maybe after shutting down? I don't know.
Perhaps every time I use MacJanitor it erases the comments section?
Or running permissions?

This is like when in 8 or 9 when rebuilding the desktop using either TT lite and you by-pass the save comments option. ConflictCatcher used to do the same also if one by-passed that option.

With MacJanitor I run the daily manually because I don't keep my puters on all the time.
Sometimes I run the 'all task' also.

Any ideas on what is going on?

I don't know what "ate" your URLs, but I can tell you that it probably wasn't the MacJanitor scripts.
