Hey i'm getting os x jaguar but my dad's office thinks that it will messs with some existing applications that are already on the computer
*Lotus Notes
*Vpn client
Those are the two applications they think will be affected. They are testing it in the office right now but it is taking weeks please give me some reason to why it wont affect those two applications. If you would like to have a real chat my aim is guitarfreakk89

Lou. What machine?
I assume it has just has the one Hard Drive with OS 9.x on it?
What's the chances of adding another Hard drive for an OS X installation?
Either Internal if it supports it, or Firewire?

Don't know about Lotus Notes, but it'll probably run okay in "classic"
VPN, is built right into Jaguar.

No. Just one Internal Drive in an imac.
That's why I suggested a Firewire External Drive.
You could Partition the existing Internal and do a seperate Install of whatever you want.
But you'd want to backup everything first because you lose all your data.
