I noticed a few members requesting to discuss the war and the politics that surround it.

I fully understand your feelings about our family here and wanting to discuss this very important topic with people we know or can relate to, I feel the same.  But, with regards to our PR&S rules here, we are not.

For you TS members that want to discuss this, feel free to go  here and discuss this all you like.

I don't mean to advertise, but I don't want to have a squabble or hard feelings on TS's because of "No PR&S" and locking threads and such.  So, I welcome you all to have at it on my forum.  Thank you.

Actually, it is great going to your website just to see the beautiful pictures of my birthplace.  Love your Jaguar, but miss the surfer!

There seems to be a few here that want to discuss the above topics among -"the family"- instead of other boards and I see your solution fits the bill perfectly!

Do you live near the water or what Al?
Is it the salt that makes you smarter as you get older? <gr>
Someone told me a long time back that ya wear size 14 shoes and your ears touch em .... so I think appearance can be ruled out for the smart thinking. <gr>

Bill, Maybe Al's site recently came back on line, but it worked fine when I just accessed it with IE 5.1.6 on a G3 PB/333, OS 9.2.2.

Thanks Lorraine for speeding up my avatar.  I saved it, but now am not home to put it up on the server.  Anyways, I made the avatar to pause for 3 seconds between changes cause I didn't want it to flash so fast as to become annoying.

Glad you folks like the idea, feel free to post what ever you feel.

Bill, I had changed the URL for my link, but it worked for me, not sure why it doesn't work for you.            But, what's with the big ears and shoe size thing?           Try the link now, Bill.

Bet the input was mixed and then some AL on having a theme like your site here at TS.  

My minds eye can picture the discussion now.  

I like it personally but could see it being a bit pushed towards one side.

Bill,  oh yes....definitely.... But at least it gives an outlet for people that want to discuss this important topic with people they are more comfortable with, considering our no PR&S rule here.

Categories were there already, so at least it will now be put to good use.

Couldn't access your site either, Al, but today switched over to IE 5.0 and entered just fine.  Nice site!  Pictures are gorgeous.  I have a new home page, too.  Feel free to come visit & see my brood.
