They go to great pains to explain it is not a G4 processor but also say is probably the bestwe can hope for.
Sounds good to mE!

Wooo! 800 Hz. Soon we'll be to 1 KHz

Anyhow, for $300, this may be a great deal. Could add some new life into my aging beige G3.

Works on beige but they, unlike BWs, need tweaking in the jumper area (or something like that). The BW is plug and play!

Wish I had this option before I bought my G4 550 MHz ZIF.  Still I am more than happy with it.

Oh BTW, the ZIF upgrade is not plug and play, unless this one is somehow different, just like the beige, the B&W also uses jumpers.

The PDF manual (and it has a manual!) clearly says if you have a BW, you need no configuration and should proceed to the push-it-in section.

Interesting, yup, it doesn't once mention what to do with the motherboard jumpers.

When you get yours, let us know how you like it.

I wish they used CD burning, it is so time specific.
Anyway im in.
Speaking of burning, my new "Lacie" (mitsumi?) does a legit 16X. In OSX, that's an improvement as the old one was struggling at the speed (although it worked in OS9, this is a noted issue with OSX, burning is slower as opposed to most everything else).
Shipping Thursday, i should get it Friday if the Airborne guy knocks hard enough. Maybe i should fix the doorbell by then.
