OT: Just had a good laugh with these letters:

Hi people  
Everybody knows that InsideMacGames gives good re- and previews from games.
But now... they posted some letters that various people mail every day to manufacturers and software developpers/porters (mainly games).
Gosh, some are really awesome, i had a great laugh with them  

Here's one (just an average, there are even better ones):
Question: You Macitosh people are so domb.
Answer: Well, at least we know how to spell "Macintosh".

I almost expected to read the letter I sent them a month ago.

The had double billed me for a games DVD. When I wrote to them that not only I hadn't ordered two disks but never even recieved one, they ignored my inquiry totally.
I mentioned "fraud" in the second letter cause as far as I was concerned they were charging me double for nothing!

Later I received an email stating that I had ordered one in November and one in December. When I checked my records I found I had tried to order the DVD in November but the online process did not complete and I never got a confirmation via email nor the DVD. So after waiting and letting a month pass I ordered the DVD at the end of December. I did get a confirmation of that order and waited for the disk. Two months later I get my credit card bill with two charges but still no disk so I was furious.

According to our laws if you can't provide a product within 8 weeks you are required to refund the money, cancel the order or ask if the person is willing to wait longer. They did none of these things.
I was sort of expecting them to post part of our correspondence cause I was a bit irate at one point.

A couple weeks after the exchange of emails, two DVDs finally arrived. I'm sending one back.

Sorry to hear this, this isn't fun i can imagine  
Sure they must have a system to check if that DVD is mailed to you from their warehouse or not?
Are they going to pay you back for this one DVD?

The last communication from them stated that they would give me a refund on my credit card account when they received the returned DVD. Of course I'm out the postage and insurance for sending it back.

Geeez, you should mail them back.
Demand them to send you TWO obvious and clear papers that show they HAVE send the dvd's to you.
If not, it's your woth agains the post office i guess, but if they can't do that, they should refund you.
Damn, i would be pissed about it to
