what kind of system are you running.  I have a G4 350 MHZ, Jaguar and even 704 mb Ram...  I find Limewire to run VERY slow when I have other apps running.  However, i have noticed that when using iTunes, if i am going to have other apps running, I hide the other apps when using Limewire.  If i want to use iTunes, I hide Limewire and unhide iTunes.  everything is hidden when Limewire is the active application.  Does this make sense?

We have a G3 Blue and White.  We are not running any other apps at all while using Limewire and ITunes.  It just seems to be thinking and thinking and never does anything...all of this starting happening when we installed a external 60 GB hard drive.

RonaldP. Adding an External Hard Drive shouldn't matter.

I see lots of complaints about this software here.

Limewire is a huge CPU hog... Takes up most of your processors resouces just running it.

RonaldP, do you have Limewire set to download MP3's into your iTunes music folder?  You should have it set to a different folder and then manually copy the files into your iTunes music folder after.
