How's the 9600? (it is a 9600, right?)

I had to ditch mine for parts and ended up getting a BUNCH of software on the 8500 that I bought for $25 (Photoshop, Freehand, Quark Xpress, MS Office, etc), so it ended up pretty sweet.  

Speaking of my family, here's a current pic of our youngest.

She got this taken yesterday and my wife wanted to learn a bit about Photoshop, so I piddled a bit, dropped the color out from her and basically everything but the flowers, then dropped them in on top where they belonged.

We liked the tone difference so much that we printed a few to frame.

Hanging in there with the 9600. Now has a G4 and 32MB video card so it should be viable for at least another year or so. Does everything I need at this point.

UUGGGGHHHH!!!!

This DSL is likely to be my undoing.    

Bell's flavor keeps kicking me off when I receive phone calls at home at different times.

It's making me insane.

I'll try to get it back up this evening and let you know.
