Refurbished (?) Macs

Know that Apple refurbishes computers returned for one or more reasons and then sells them to certain resellers. These units carry the Apple one year warranty.
Can anyone tell me where in So. Cal. is a reseller dealer who is reliable and competitive.

Hi Rosa.

The number one choice would have to be an actual Apple store.

There are several in California.

I see no reason not to buy online however.

Check out the "Special Deals" section at the bottom left of the Apple site.

A really good place to buy from is smalldog.com

I highly recommend them.

It's good to keep track of things here.

What were you thinking of getting?

Here's one in Oregon.

 Powermax.com

so long as they are from apple and have the 1 year warrenty you're in good shape.

I bought my G4 from this place and it turned out the processor was bad. Apple replaced the logic board instead but I had a brand new 933 processor put in under warrenty and it's working like a champ.

I bought a Referb  6500 250 from Apple and a G4933 from Power Mac. Both have been great. Just stay with apple referb.
