Replaced my old Performa 6400 with a new re-furbished EMac G4/700 from Apple store.
Have three SCSI appliances that I want to connect to the E, so need some kind of adapter for this purpose.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Rosa, I believe that you need one of these:

though it seems like you might be able to do a whole lot better on eBay!

Typically, judging from the completed auctions, these things go for a maximum of about $30 and often less.

Unless something has changed substantially over the past two years, stay away from the Entrega adapters. Saw a number of bad reports - freezes, SCSI Zip not mounting...etc. The Belkin model AFAIK has been reliable.

Congratulations Rosa.

If it was me, I wouldn't go for an Adapter.

What kind of stuff are you talking about?

Scanner? Zip Drive?

Are you keeping your Performa?

If so. You may just want to Network them and use your SCSI that way.

Or just sell all your old stuff and get new.

To Paddy, thanks for the info. Have already made a bid.
To Kelley, to replace the Minolta 35mm slide scanner, the Agfa flat bed 1236 and the HP CDRW 9600 would be way too much for me to handle. Have promised the 6400 to twin grandsons age 6.
