Can you believe it?  And he's still running his business, too.

Here's a photo krissel took of him this past Memorial Day. He's wearing his Eisenhower jacket from WWII and carrying the eagle walking stick he carved and painted. His daughters, three grandchildren and one great grandchild will be visiting him today. I'm sure he wishes Bunny and his son could be there, and they will be, in spirit at least.

Community / Bunny and Bob celebrate 69 years together!

Whew, I bearly made it here to tell you about the latest milestone in my job. I've been busy watching over Bunny to make sure she goes to her therapy and takes her medications.  Bobun has been busy also helping out by cooking some really good meals on his George Forman grill.  

But my lack of hibernation was worth it. On Monday the two lovebirds celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. Whoohoo!  

There wasn't a lot of fuss but they had a yummy cake and Krissel made them a special card that reminded them of that momentous year of 1942 when they got married.

All the good people of TS have been so helpful over the years and Bunny and Bob are really grateful for all the support you guys have given them.

TS's most senior member is celebrating his 92nd birthday today!  

It's so hard to believe Bunny's hubby has that many years behind him.  In fact, both Bunny and Bob are amazing, neither looks (or acts) their age. Now if I can just keep him from cutting the lawn, chopping wood, repairing the barn door...

I'm so lucky to be part of this family.

HAPPY 67th ANNIVERSARY BOB and BUNNY  !!!

       





It's been almost 4 years since you great people at TS sent me to watch over Bunny during her operations. She and Bob (Bobun) are enjoying their more than 67 years together thanks to you guys. I don't miss hibernation since I enjoy being with them all year round.

2007 / OT:Bunny is 85 today

Oh, you guys are the greatest!

I had krissel print out all these nice messages so Bunny could read them. Boy, did they make her happy. She read every word, even asking about all the computers you list under your names. Whew!

Krissel said it was a bit of an 'obstacle course' trying to get here today since there were still roads closed and water over some streets that were opened anyway. She laughed as she told us about watching the geese and ducks swimming in a parking lot of a store.

Thank you all for your kind wishes. Bunny loved every one of them.

2007 / OT:Bunny is 85 today

Hi TSers!

Just had to pop by on this verrrry soggy day (wet bear fur smells much better than dog fur ) to tell you that Bunny is celebrating her 85th birthday today. So far she has proven those doom doctors very wrong.

We had her party on Saturday because the weatherman told us a nasty storm was coming and he was right, no one can get very far around here today.

Here is a picture of her blowing out the candles on the yummy cake we got for her.

2006 / OT: Happy Birthday Bobun

Everyone had a great time at the birthday party!

I got krissel's camera out and took these pictures. But the best looking one (me) isn't in the picture. I couldn't run fast enough to get in the shot even with the timer on...

Oh well, you can see my handsome face in my avatar.

Here's Bobun taking a picture of his cake.



And here he is showing one of his cards with 88 keys...get it?  



And the whole bunch together finally...great grandparents et al.

2006 / OT: Happy Birthday Bobun

Some of you may not know Bobun since he lurks most of the time and only occasionally posts. But most of you know my buddy Bunny.  

Well Bobun (Bob+Bunny=Bobun) is her husband of 64 years and today is his birthday. Krissel told me that she thinks he is the oldest TS member and as of today he is a very spry 88 !


So from krissel, Bunny and TS Bear,  we want to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Well I just had to put my paw in here and show you cousin bear that krissel's Ma and Pa got for her. They figured that I did such a good job of watching out for Bunny that krissel should have a buddy, too.

Don't know his name but he's an OK guy. Here's a pic of us meeting...oh, and that pink mug getting nosey in the second photo is another of Bunny's helpers.
She's a real ham.





Otherwise things are going OK here.

 


(the carrot cake was good... but I had a hard time keeping my piece from all those furry rabbits sitting on Bunny's night table )
