Nice Web site. But that's a puny watermark. I could get rid of it pretty quickly.

Here's a low-res version of a stock photo I bought years ago (houses usually let you download low-res versions for comps; they watermark it so it can't be misused). Aside from the fact the resolution isn't good, it'd take quite an effort to remove it.

It's not the best example, but it does you the size of a watermark. If the photo had been a close-up of a horse, for instance, they'd have slapped the watermark right on his body.

The more I read this thread the more I wonder whether I belong at Facebook.  But I just was looking at some 700 wedding and other pictures of friends of my son.  They vacationed in places I'd never heard of (Harry Potter Land in the Bahama's?) and I was totally overwhelmed by their talent and creativity as displayed by the pictures on Facebook.  I don't think I'd ever post that many but it was fun to look at them!  Good luck all and stay cool!  BTW: Frances those pictures and the slideshow are fantastic!  I just showed them to my wife and she loved the ponies. . .she's a horse fancier!

I have friends who use FB for their picture albums too, like your son did with his wedding photos.
But Im not really sure how, and if I need to do this with our family stuff. As we all have Flickr, Pbase and more album sites.
And we also have our own sites where I put up tons of pictures. I like that better, as its a bit more private, like who on FB wants to look at kids and pets.
But its all there for us to use! All of it, and we most likely have many on various sites.
 Even this old Granny has a FB site, tho I don't use it much.
