Nope!
I'm not a complete idiot -- a few parts are missing!

I am waiting on this too, as my local independent Mac store will not sell them.  I can get one thru my cell server, Cingular, which I am glad theyve gone back to ATT for a name.
Looks like a really fun gadget, but I am looking for a small phone which only has the functions it was made for, to call and receive calls, and perhaps a camera.
Our kids like the camera part.
But I already have an iPod, so really dont want the music part. This will be a lot of fun to see one in 'action' and then decide if we really need one now.  Perhaps not yet anyway, would be nice to be able to decline the music/media and get just a basic phone/cam.
Will be fun to see what sells and how many.  AAPL hit 120.50 today.

Gregg - Just make sure you have a good supply of bandaids and iodine for when you get cut by the cutting edge!  I did read they've got the battery time up to 8 hours!  No hurry for me!

I would consider getting one if I could.  No AT&T here.

I considdered buying one but thought better of it. I do have ATT nee Cingular nee ATT service but I don't need iTunes capability, iVideo, etc. I will stay with my trusty Palm Treo 680.

Same here, I dont need nor want video or music on my phone.
We have other thingies which deal with all of that.

Soooooo, I am leaning towards the Samsung SYNC SGH-A707, if the card will input the pictures correctly.
I probably will be looking at this soon, if there are the promotions coming up with the HUGE mailing I got today from Cingular,
have not read it yet as weve been out biking all day.

Me neither. I use my mobile to make calls and send text messages.

It took me ages to find a true replacement for the Nokia 6310i that I loved.  The only thing that that wouldn't do was sync with my Mac via Bluetooth.

I'm now using a Nokia 6021 and it does me fine.  I even got one for the SWMBO smile.gif

Here's a 6 month old thread from Ars that seems to have all the elements in a semi-hostile environment.
http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.ars/2007/1/12/6597

There are plenty of options, maybe not with a pretty fancy inteface  but there's a lot to be said about solid networks and compact sizes. http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2006...05/samsung-t719

For those on at&t and want music http://www.mobiletracker.net/archives/2007/03/26/att-napster

Jane have you seen these http://www.samsungblackjack.com/
