Bingo! I cleared caches via Develop, logged out/in, and now I see those things at the bottom of the page.  :notworthy:

Please bring your card to the front and receive your prize! ;)

BTW, when changing your theme, you don't need to click the "Modify Profile" button. You will note that it changes the theme immediately and it probably writes to the cookie on your drive, so the theme is selected the next time you open the site. Other settings, Time?, may need the "Modify..." button, however. We're all still learning as we go... hopefully!

Jon - I fixed your avatar (re-uploaded another copy from the old forum). Changed the settings so that there is no maximum width on avatars, only a maximum height, so that it no longer tries to make everything square. That seems to have done the trick. BTW - if you want to upload a shiny new CLEAR avatar (because your original image is very pixelated and there is nothing that will fix that), please go ahead. Googling "violin" there are lots of nice images on white backgrounds - I truly don't think anyone will mind you swiping one for an itty-bitty avatar. ;)

Thanks for the advice about violin avatars, but mine happens to be a photo of my actual violin, made by David Wiebe in Woodstock, NY in 2005. For anyone interested, his website is http://violoncello.com and if you follow the Instruments tab, mine is #47.

Hey Jon - I downloaded the pic from the website and made you a nice new square avatar that doesn't distort. :) (Changed the background to a cream, like you had before, since it shows off the violin better than the khaki green on the original photo)

Lovely violin, btw!

Can we get a discount on your recordings?

The current avatar does not distort, but thanks anyway. And yes, the violin is visually beautiful but also sonically beautiful.

Discount? When I play in public, admission is free but you have to pay to leave. The sooner you want to leave, the higher the fee. BTW, whenever I open the violin case, the cat runs out.

The old one was all pixelated and degraded. At least that's how it looked on a 5K 27" iMac. :D
