I just downloaded Keynote 15.2. The old one - 14.5- is still in my Apps folder. Can I or should I just trash it?

NO!
Don't be a sheep! Do some investigation, even if it has to be on Google.
There is no reason to "trash" the old versions of Pages, Keynote or Numbers.
Educate yourself.
