No, it's not perfect, but we are working on it.

The skins will be "fixed" as the day happens.

Tweaks will be occurring all day, please be patient.

Post icons will go away.

If you see a feature you like, please let us know.

No probs. smile.gif

Just curious ... how much of the profile stuff are we keeping? I'm referring to the listing of visitors, friends, etc. If we are keeping it all, then I'll go to surfing here invisible as it's the only way to stop most of that info from showing. I'm okay either way, I'd just like to know.

EDIT: No quick edit?

Also, you're probably aware, but the banner wasn't showing in the Smooth Rose skin.

You're right about edit.  It's not working in Sage.

Smooth Rose was a holdover from the old skins and in testing this morning I was surprised to see that it actually worked with the new software. The others we had didn't . I have to work on it a bit yet.

You're right about edit.  It's not working in Sage.

No "quick edit" in Aqua. (I miss the old dark skin ... but ... life be like that).

Must admit, I hate the way IPB now handles the smilies. It's ... annoying at the very least, and I doubt you can "fix" that without a major code rewrite cuz the other board I belong to has already tried. wink.gif I'm just saying I don't like it ... but I've learned to live with it.

I do intensely dislike the invasive profile page.

Kris, it's always fun when something old works with the new. I have an old skin on my board, and I'm crossing my fingers it works after I do the next upgrade.

Hmmm, Quick Edit works for me in both Sage and Aqua.  huh.gif

Yup, just did it in Sage.

And Aqua.

What browser are you using?

OK, I screwed up.  I made one small change in Smooth Rose global html and lost the whole shebang. wallbash.gif

Will continue to try to bring it back but it doesn't look good.  sad.gif Hurt.gif fool.gif

I did a complete download before we upgraded.  What do you need?

I changed something in the All global html / global board header and it lost the whole look of Smooth RoseB.

The weirdest thing is I can still see the skin just fine in FF but not Camino or Safari. huh.gif

Yes, I've dumped my cache in those browsers many times and have opened and closed them. I haven't dumped the cache in FF so I'm wondering...

I also tried uploading the original compressed skin files from when it was first put up a year or so ago but all I got is an error when I  selected it in the skin selector. I trashed that one.

Jen, I've turned SmoothRose off to the members for now. Can you see it in it's original form? If so, what browser?

I'm using FF 2.0.0.3.

BTW, when I just tried multi-quote (using Aqua skin), hitting the button took me to the top of the thread and when I hit the post reply button, there wasn't anything quoted.

Sorry about rose ... oh the joy of it all. wink.gif

And quick edit still isn't working. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Do I have to click and hold or something?

BTW, I have all  my extensions/add ons turned off at the moment.

Give the Edit button just a quick click and it should drop down the choice of full or quick edt.

Hmmm ... still not working. I'm gonna try switching skins.

Okay, 3 different skins later and it's still not giving me the option of quick or reg. edit (can't remember what it says).

Are you running FF?

Maybe I need a different version of java on my Mac?

I'll log in with Safari and try it.
