Last weekend we drove up north for the day and I managed to catch one good photo of a translucent wave on the drive home. Taken in Depoe Bay, nearing sunset (click photo for a larger version):

Great pic. You could use the wave portion to make a TS banner.
Cheers, Tom

Thanks everyone!

dboh, come to the coast of Oregon. When the waves are kicking and the sun is setting, if you are patient you'll see a translucent wave.

TMM -- thanks! I'll think it over.

Thanks for sharing; pictures of waves make me think of the famous painting of Katsushika Hokusai:

computers will work all of the time!"

Kim, that is an amazing picture. Well done! I meant to leave a comment the other day, and was somehow distracted rolleyes.gif

I've never been to the Oregon coast, thinking it's really time to see how wonderful it is in person!

Thanks for sharing!  clap.gif

I'll third (or fourth or fifth) the banner suggestion!

Alive but a tad sore.  Shoveled the roof OK but triceps and biceps are not happy. Really need a swim but not a possibility for a while. Temp outside is presently 6º and some local roads still a bit icy.   sad.gif
