2006 / Tandy still dandy

If you can get the Tandy on line you could email the files to yourself.

(serious suggestion).

Much depends on what OS it is running.

Fabulous photos Frances!  smile.gif

As regards the 'Icelandic' you could be on a winner, marketing-wise. As you obviously know, Icelandic is the only current version of old Norse, the language of the Vikings, and has great relevance to the Northern Isles of Scotland.

I am not qualified to comment on the technical side of websites, but I like yours!

Thanks for your post.  I hold my hands up!

Frances, I would like to make it clear that I was not attacking you personally!  smile.gif

I was merely making a general observation that the greater part of Tiger and iLife6 users do not experience these or any other problems.

But there is one iDVD theme that does not work, but I forget which one, other than it is one of the widescreen ones!

I have just received David Pogue's "iMovie 6 and iDVD6 - The Missing Manual", and even a cursury read tells me that both programmes have so much more to offer than Apple ever bother telling users about. Apple can be very arrogant that way, which I consider a self-defeating marketing ploy.

There is not, I believe, any such thing as 'free positioning' of the movie on the screen, this refers to the buttons within the themes. Or did you mean moving the window around on the desktop?

Does anyone really think that Apple designed it that way?

Is anyone prepared to concede that they, or their mangled computer, may be at fault?

Or that 99% of users have no problems at all?

Fair enough! I am still trying to find the 'edit' function here, so I can correct typos!  wink.gif

From your link: "Unfortunately for too many, it means being able to use Microsoft products, and that's all."

For me, it means NOT having to use Microsoft products, not wanting to use Microsoft products, and not allowing into your house any computer running a Microsoft OS! devilishgrin.gif

If it helps, my solitaire game of choice has always been Solitaire Till Dawn from Semicolon software. It's available for OS X.

Thanks Kimmer! I had Solitaire Till dawn when I was running OS8.6, glad to know it is now avalable for OSX!  smile.gif

Wurtzburg has a marvellous medieval city wall you can walk on top of with great views of the old city. Don't miss it!

I must learn how to Bounce!  Sounds like a good idea.
Can you do this with Mac Mail, or have to use my ISP mail?
Jane

You have two choices:

1, A trampoline, and

2. Go to 'Message' in mail's menu and click on Bounce!

It's some sort of Bavarian holiday today

It's called Ascension Day.

And yes, in Europe 6 weeks annual paid holiday is quite normal.

There is more to life than work (a 4-letter word meaning 'making other people rich').
