Have not been unable to access TS but I have got several "IPS Error..." messages when using the "Mark all as read and return" function. It always seems to work on the second try, anyway. dntknw.gif Maybe the interweb needs a dose of Drain-O? smile.gif

Server was down for some time in the early AM on 6/30.

Put in a ticket... they had to wait for the datacenter to reboot.

Couldn't connect for about 20 minutes from around 11.05 UK time; back on line by 11.30am.

I didn't write down the error message - I know, not much help - but when I tried to post a new topic, it timed out and indicated a possible server problem. Well, I tried again, and it worked. So I doubt there it was with "TS Server" causing the problem.

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Today, around 10:20 A.M. or so... prior to the message, server seemed a bit slow.

oops.gif forgot to report that I had problems posting (in the Community $4 a gallon thread) at about 8.45am UK time; timed out but I left it a few minutes and tried again and it then worked OK.

I put in a request for assistance to ASO around 4 AM today as TS was either unreachable or the pages took minutes to load. They apparently rebooted the server and it recovered at that point. I think Neal hit that disruption. Jim had trouble yesterday aft as well.

But Chris's problem was later so it must have returned.

Keep posting if you have trouble. (that is, after you get back or email Paddy or me)

It's hard to figure out who to blame when these short-time outages occur. Could just be overloaded servers in front of TS? dntknw.gif It probably takes longer to send the request than the outage lasts. wallbash.gif OTOH, taking the blame is what the Admins get the big money for! So, from now on, I'll blame the first one of you who I see online! tongue.gif rofl.gif salute.gif

Yes, sometime the problem is only a momentary thing so I usually wait at least 20 minutes before I send in a ticket for assistance. If it hasn't recovered by then it pays to wake them up.  smile.gif

That's OK Jim, you can blame us. Won't do any good but if it makes you feel better... tease.gif

About 9.10am UK - is that 4.10am NY? Couldn't get from Tech forum listings to this thread and it eventually timed out. Went off to do other things (which confirmed it wasn't my connection) and came back about 9.35am UK when it loaded OK.

Just wondered if the server is perhaps performing some routine housekeeping about that time that upsets things?
